Dr.BIZIMANA Benjamin

Dr Bizimana Is currently a Lecturer in the Department of Foundations of Education and Curriculum Studies, School of Educational Sciences at the College of Education, University of Rwanda. Dr. Bizimana Benjamin is a highly accomplished professional in the field of education, hailing from Rwanda. He holds a Ph.D. in Educational Planning from Kenyatta University in Kenya, an M.Ed. in Educational Management and Administration from Kampala International University in Uganda, and a B.Ed. in English from the National University of Rwanda. With a strong commitment to education and research, Dr. Benjamin has made significant contributions to his field. He has worked as a Lecturer, Researcher, and Consultant, specializing in Educational Planning and Management, Policy Issues, and Quality Assurance. His ultimate goal is to be a global leader in education research, focusing on various aspects of educational effectiveness and development. Dr. Bizimana has an impressive track record of consultancy and research work, including projects related to the quality of basic and higher education, higher teacher education programs, and career pathways for learners. He has also contributed to the evaluation of online teaching and learning programs during the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition to his practical work, Dr. Bizimana has published numerous academic articles, further showcasing his expertise. The academic works in pipeline include: unlocking research methodology: a comprehensive guide for students and researchers across disciplines (Co-authored book), Customized Education and Training and Responsive Human Capital Development in East Africa: The Case of Kenya and Rwanda (book chapter for New Public management and Service Delivery in Africa) and Enhancing Technical and Vocational Education Graduates’ Skills through Collaborative Curriculum Implementation in Rwanda (paper). His dedication and achievements have earned him recognition, including an award from the Inter-University Council for East Africa for staff mobility. Overall, Dr. Bizimana is a prominent figure in the education sector, making significant strides in improving educational quality and access in Rwanda.
